About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cost Analyst to join our Low Carbon Regulated Asset Base (RAB) team at OFGEM. As a Senior Cost Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our mission to ensure a sustainable and affordable energy supply for everyone.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on cost assessment, reporting, and cost logging for our Low Carbon RAB programmes.
  • Develop and maintain a structured record management system for cost logging and project delivery.
  • Work closely with our talented teams to provide advice and guidance to support evidence-based decisions, promote regulatory compliance, and push the boundaries of what's possible in the journey to Net Zero.
  • Collaborate with industry experts, drive real change, and develop professionally in a dynamic and supportive environment.
Requirements
  • Experience in the operation or regulation of infrastructure/utility companies or similar infrastructure developers or large complex corporations.
  • Experience in developing business cases, cost estimates, value-for-money assessments, or regulatory impact assessments; reporting, quality assurance, safety, and governance of major infrastructure or similarly complex projects.
  • Advanced Excel and modelling skills.
