Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Commercial team as the Head of Retail Operations and Performance. This is a senior management role that will be responsible for managing the performance of our retail portfolio across three airports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of retail professionals to ensure the contractual operational and financial targets for our retailers are exceeded.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve retail standards and operations, delivering best-in-class customer experience.
  • Collaborate with the commercial analyst, Airport Managing Directors, and Heads of retail categories to drive business growth and improve trading performance.
  • Manage a network of 60+ retail units across three airports, with a combined annual income of £50 million.
  • Develop and implement standardized procedures and reporting tools to ensure consistency across all airports.
  • Lead periodic reviews with senior leaders of our retail partners, presenting performance initiatives and driving business growth.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in a mid-to-senior level commercial retail role.
  • Extensive knowledge of the retail market, with experience leading retail teams and managing concessionaire environments.
  • Strong customer focus, with experience building a strong customer proposition.
  • Proven track record of business transformation and financial management.
  • Ability to present concisely and confidently to executive and board-level stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational mindset, with ability to set up new teams and processes.
