We are excited to announce an opportunity for a dedicated wine specialist to become part of our innovative farm-to-table, zero-waste dining establishment. Located within The Conduit Club, Rucola is devoted to sustainable practices and exceptional culinary experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the kitchen team to create tailored wine pairing options
  • Offer customized wine suggestions to enhance guest experiences
  • Facilitate training sessions for team members
  • Manage the organization and upkeep of the wine cellar
  • Interact with patrons to gauge their wine preferences
  • Ensure proper maintenance of all related equipment

Required Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in a wine specialist role
  • In-depth understanding of wine regions and varietals
  • Refined palate for identifying distinct flavors
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Preferred certification from recognized wine education institutions
  • Commitment to sustainable practices
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a team
