Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Activities Assistant to join our team. As an Activities Assistant, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our residents by planning and delivering engaging activities that promote their physical, emotional, and social wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver a range of activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts and crafts, games, exercise classes, and social events.
- Build strong relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues to ensure a person-centred approach to care.
- Collaborate with the care team to identify residents' preferences and develop activities that meet their individual needs.
- Contribute to the development of a stimulating and engaging environment that promotes resident independence and autonomy.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of activities and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
- Experience of working in a care setting, preferably in a similar role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends.
- DBS clearance.
What We Offer
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.00.
- A contracted 16-24 hours per week.
- Pension scheme.
- 5.6 weeks annual leave (pro-rata).

- Onsite parking.
