About the Role
This Senior Care Manager position is essential for the smooth daily operation and delivery of exceptional care within our residential care homes. You'll provide dynamic leadership to ensure the highest standards of performance, empowering everyone to live a vibrant and fulfilling life.
Beyond providing direct care, you'll coordinate and supervise a team of dedicated Care Service Assistants. Together, you'll deliver a comprehensive range of personal and social care services to our residents, guided by Avante Care & Support's philosophy of care and the principles of the Eden Alternative.
As a Senior Care Manager, you'll also be responsible for overseeing the home in the absence of management.
Main Responsibilities:- Deliver exceptional care that encompasses residents' physical, personal, emotional, and social well-being. This includes working closely with residents, their families, and advocates to ensure personalized care plans are implemented effectively.
- Collaborate with the Registered Home Manager and Deputy Manager to contribute to the efficient management of the home. You'll directly deliver care, allocate tasks, provide support and guidance to your team, and ensure all practices align with Avante Care & Support's Quality Standards and policies.
- Play a vital role in training and development by assisting with the onboarding of new staff members and providing ongoing training and development opportunities for existing team members. This includes ensuring everyone understands and adheres to the Residential Quality Manual (RQM) and consistently meets our high quality standards.
- Contribute to a safe and healthy environment for residents, staff, and visitors by adhering to Health and Safety and Fire Regulations. You'll also ensure your team members comply with these regulations.
