About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a Clinical Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in providing specialist assessment, formulation, and intervention services to adolescents with complex mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of adolescents with complex mental health needs, including eating disorders, psychosis, OCD, and emerging and emotional regulation difficulties.
  • Develop and implement time-limited interventions, both directly and through consultation with the multidisciplinary team, to support adolescents and their families.
  • Provide specialist training and supervision to junior psychologists and other staff members.
  • Contribute to the development of psychological skills within the wider team and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
Requirements
  • Three-year Postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical Psychology or equivalent.
  • At least one year post-qualification experience as a Clinical Psychologist, including relevant experience in Child and Adolescent Mental Health.
  • Experience of providing direct clinical services to children, adolescents, and their families with severe and complex mental health difficulties.
  • Experience of completing neuropsychological assessments with adolescents with severe and complex mental health needs.
  • Experience of using a range of outcome measures within a CAMHS context.
