We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Psychiatric Liaison Service (PLS) leadership team. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of psychological services across the general hospital wards and A&E settings.
Main DutiesThe successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Providing specialist psychological assessment and treatment to patients with complex mental health needs
- Developing and implementing psychological interventions to support patients with severe mental illness and high-risk presentations
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes and service delivery
- Contributing to the development of integrated physical and mental health pathways

Person SpecificationThe ideal candidate will possess:
- Postgraduate Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or equivalent accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS)
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Experience of working as a qualified Clinical or Counselling Psychologist at a highly specialist level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
