About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team in Bedfordshire CAMHS services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, as well as coordinating the delivery of the service and providing specialist supervision, consultation, training, and direct clinical interventions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences
  • Coordinate the delivery of the service, including working with multidisciplinary teams and partnership agencies
  • Provide specialist supervision, consultation, training, and direct clinical interventions
  • Work with children and young people with moderate and severe intellectual disabilities, and those diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Condition, and their carers and families
Person Specification
  • Postgraduate (Doctoral) Training in Clinical Psychology leading to Practitioner Psychologist Registration with the HPC
  • Post doctoral training in supervision
  • Experience of working with children and young people with neurodevelopmental differences, including those with intellectual disabilities and Autism Spectrum Condition
  • Experience of providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention, as well as coordinating the delivery of services
  • Experience of working with multidisciplinary teams and partnership agencies
