About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our Neurodevelopmental Team in Bedfordshire CAMHS services. As a Senior Clinical Psychologist, you will play a key role in providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide specialist mental health assessment and intervention to children and young people with complex needs
  • Work closely with the multidisciplinary team to deliver evidence-based interventions and support the development of the team
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical policies and procedures
  • Provide supervision and training to junior staff members
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of the service

Person Specification
  • Postgraduate (Doctoral) Training in Clinical Psychology leading to Practitioner Psychologist Registration with the HPC
  • Post doctoral training in supervision
  • Experience of working with children and young people with complex mental health needs
  • Experience of providing specialist mental health assessment and intervention
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
