Senior Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Clinical Psychologist to join our team at East London NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Psychiatric Liaison Service (PLS) leadership team, you will contribute to the development and delivery of high-quality psychological services across our general hospital wards and A&E settings.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of psychological services, including reviewing pathways to meet the needs of our service users and enabling the team to meet the standards for a Core 24 service.
- Provide clinical supervision and guidance to junior staff members.
- Develop and deliver training programs for the general wards and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with other healthcare disciplines to develop joint work and improve patient outcomes.
- Contribute to the development of integrated physical and mental health pathways.
- Postgraduate Doctoral level training in Clinical or Counselling Psychology or equivalent accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS).
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Experience of working as a qualified Clinical or Counselling or Forensic psychologist at a highly specialist level or as a qualified psychotherapist in the NHS or similar public health provider.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team and contribute to the development of high-quality psychological services.
