Job Title: Clinical Psychologist Lead

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires a high level of expertise in clinical psychology and leadership. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive workforce development plan for the psychology department, ensuring that all staff have the necessary skills and training to provide high-quality care to patients.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a workforce development plan that aligns with the Trust's strategic objectives
  • Lead and manage a team of clinical psychologists and other staff to deliver high-quality training and development programs
  • Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to ensure that the workforce development plan is aligned with the Trust's overall strategy
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the workforce development plan and make recommendations for improvement
  • Ensure that all staff have the necessary skills and training to provide high-quality care to patients
Requirements:
  • Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent) and Chartered Psychologist status
  • Experience of leading and managing a team of clinical psychologists and other staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Working Arrangements:

This is a full-time role, working 37.5 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of the service.
