Join East London NHS Foundation Trust as a Clinical Psychologist Lead and play a key role in developing the psychological therapies workforce. This exciting opportunity will see you working closely with the Associate Director for Psychology to support the development of a sustainable and skilled workforce.
Main Responsibilities:- Coordinate a CPD programme across Bedfordshire and Luton psychological therapies, linking with national training developments and opportunities.
- Work with Psychology Leads to develop and maintain links with HEI, to proactively support recruitment and ongoing development of a sustainable and skilled workforce.
- Support Psychology Leads with placement development and coordination for Trainee Clinical Psychologists and to support host services to provide high quality training placements.
- Develop plans to support the career development of the psychology workforce across the career span and aligned to existing and future opportunities across the psychology professions.
- Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or its equivalent for those trained prior to 1996) or BPS statement of Equivalence and able to demonstrate eligibility for BPS CPsychol (Chartered Psychologist) with group training/expertise.
- Experience of proposing and implementing service development projects within relevant service area.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic team and contribute to the development of a sustainable and skilled workforce.
