Role Overview:

We are in search of a Head of Technology (CTO) to spearhead our technological initiatives and strategic direction.

This role presents a remarkable opportunity to influence the trajectory of our organization and play a crucial part in our growth journey.

As the Head of Technology, you will oversee all technical dimensions of the organization, fostering innovation and ensuring the robustness and scalability of our platform.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Formulate and implement the technological vision and strategy of the company.
  • Guide and develop a growing team of software developers and engineers.
  • Supervise system architecture and design to guarantee scalability and dependability.
  • Collaborate with various departments to synchronize technology with business objectives.
  • Occasionally engage in direct coding to resolve critical challenges or deploy essential features.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements to promote ongoing enhancement.
  • Manage and refine our technology stack, including MongoDB, Jira, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Ensure security and compliance across all technological operations.
  • Work with the leadership team on strategic planning and decision-making.
  • Facilitate effective communication within the technology team and across other departments.
  • Represent the organization in technical discussions with stakeholders and clients.

Candidate Requirements:
  • Demonstrated experience as a CTO or in a comparable leadership position within a startup or scaleup.
  • Strong technical foundation with practical experience in software development.
  • Familiarity with MongoDB, Jira, AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
  • Exceptional leadership and team management capabilities.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to execute and achieve results.
  • Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic startup environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of the hospitality sector is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Based in the UK with the flexibility to work remotely and travel occasionally for team engagements.
