Brevan Howard CFD LTD is seeking an experienced Senior Technologist to lead the development and implementation of crucial Credit Technology. As the Head of Credit Technology, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of software solutions for our credit trading business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Management: Organize and translate business technical requirements into technology solutions.
  • Resource Management: Drive technology resources across multiple technology teams and functions.
  • Technical Expertise: Stay up to date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the team is leveraging the latest tools and techniques to deliver best-in-class solutions.
  • Leverage Firm Resources: Collaborate across the firm to ensure that Credit delivers its technology requirements by leveraging core resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of software development experience, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Demonstrated success in project management and directing high-performing software development teams, with a minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Strong knowledge of credit products and trading processes, including trading technology, risk management, pricing, and trading strategies.
  • Proficiency in modern programming languages and frameworks, such as Python, Java, C++,.NET, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with database design and development, including SQL and NoSQL technologies.
  • Familiarity with agile software development methodologies and tools, such as Scrum, Kanban, and Jira + Github.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, scalable solutions.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
