About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Infrastructure and Technology to join our team at the British Heart Foundation. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the management and oversight of our technology infrastructure, ensuring it meets the needs of our business and supports our mission to fund research and save lives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of technical professionals responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of our technology infrastructure.
  • Develop and implement strategies to ensure the availability, capacity, and security of our technology infrastructure.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure technology infrastructure meets business needs and supports our mission.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of technology infrastructure.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends, and make recommendations for future-proofing our technology infrastructure.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in a technical leadership role, with a strong background in technology infrastructure management.
  • Proven track record of managing and leading technical teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
