Infrastructure and Technology Director

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Head of Infrastructure and Platform Lead. This is a key role that will play a critical part in shaping the future of our technology infrastructure and platform.
The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of platform architecture, infrastructure design, and engineering principles, patterns, and best practices. They will be responsible for developing and maintaining the technical platform and infrastructure architecture strategy and roadmap, as well as owning the infrastructure strategy and budget.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the technical platform and infrastructure architecture strategy and roadmap.
- Own the infrastructure strategy and budget.
- Undertake a full review of the existing infrastructure and create a plan for the future state.
- Lead globally on all security and compliance initiatives.
- Manage teams and individuals in distributed global locations.
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of platform architecture, infrastructure design, and engineering principles, patterns, and best practices.
- Proficiency in multi-cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their platform services.
- Knowledge of enterprise architecture patterns and practices (e.g., design patterns for microservices, loosely coupled architecture, DevSecOps practices).
- Experience with a variety of infrastructure technologies (e.g., networks, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud services).
- Proficiency in multi-cloud infrastructure and related services.
