About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and ambitious Head of Technology Transformation to join our team at Fair Finance. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving our technology and digital transformation, ensuring that our technology infrastructure and services are aligned with our business objectives.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology operations, software development, and IT service management, with experience in leading technology transformation initiatives and managing cross-functional teams. You will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our technology roadmap, ensuring that our technology infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of our technology roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Oversee the management of our technology infrastructure, including IT service management, incident management, and problem resolution.
  • Manage a team of technology professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful delivery of technology projects.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including business leaders, technology suppliers, and partners.
  • Ensure that our technology infrastructure is secure, scalable, and aligned with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that technology initiatives are aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in technology operations, software development, and IT service management.
  • Proven experience in leading technology transformation initiatives and managing cross-functional teams.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL framework and best practices for IT service delivery, incident management, change management, problem resolution, and service transition.
  • Experience in managing major incidents, including escalation and briefings to senior managers.
  • Solid practical knowledge and experience of current and emerging trends, including agile project management practices, cloud platforms, automation, and AI.
  • People management experience, including team leadership and development.
  • Demonstrable experience of technical cyber solutions and security governance.
  • Procurement experience of new technology suppliers and partners, including contract negotiation and management.
  • Able to evidence acting as a project lead on technology initiatives.
  • Experience working in a Financial Services role is desirable.
