Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Transport Administrator to join our team at Culina Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for providing administrative support and ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate the receipt and processing of goods, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Manage the booking and scheduling of collections and deliveries, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Investigate and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to transportation, including customer queries and missing documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including PODs and return processes.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Perform administrative tasks, including photocopying, printing, and storing documents.
  • Manage the inbound diary for all customers, ensuring timely and efficient processing.
  • Monitor and control period-end spreadsheets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Compile lists of outstanding PODs and contact hauliers to request.
  • Report outstanding PODs daily.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a logistics or transportation environment.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills, with attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages, including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a customer-focused approach.
