We are looking for a dedicated Transport Operations Coordinator to enhance our Logistics team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing administrative assistance to the Transport Division.
Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 to 18:00
Compensation: £26,622 Per Annum
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with site policy documents by effectively managing all Proof of Delivery (POD) and Return processes.
- Coordinate customer collections and complete necessary documentation.
- Manage customer delivery bookings efficiently.
- Address and resolve any collection-related inquiries.
- Guarantee that all paperwork is returned for customer deliveries dispatched from the site, and follow up on outstanding PODs.
- Communicate with personnel at other locations and external partners.
- Handle photocopying, printing, and organizing both physical and digital documents.
- Oversee the inbound diary for all customer interactions.
- Monitor the daily workflow of clean PODs.
- Manage period-end spreadsheets effectively.
- Compile lists of outstanding PODs and liaise with hauliers for follow-up.
- Report on outstanding PODs on a daily basis.

- Capability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
- Effective prioritization of workload to meet deadlines.
- Proficient in computer applications, particularly MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).
