About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Band 5 Occupational Therapist ready to take the next step in their career progression into their first Band 6 role or an established Band 6 Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our dynamic Stroke and Neurosciences team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in the multidisciplinary team, working with patients who have suffered strokes and neurological conditions.

Your Responsibilities

  • Provide expert occupational therapy assessment and intervention to patients with a range of neurological conditions.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote functional independence and enhance quality of life.
  • Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to ensure holistic patient care.
  • Educate patients, families, and caregivers on strategies to manage their condition and optimize recovery.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical guidelines and best practices.

About You

You will be a registered Occupational Therapist with a strong clinical background in neurology. You possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. A commitment to patient-centered care and a passion for making a difference in the lives of individuals with neurological conditions are essential.
