Homerton Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Neurological Occupational Therapist to join our specialized team. Your Role
As a Specialist Neurological Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care to patients. You'll be part of well-coordinated multi-professional teams at the forefront of rehabilitation, working closely with nursing and therapy colleagues across acute and community settings.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with a range of neurological conditions.
- Implement evidence-based interventions to promote functional independence, enhance quality of life, and support recovery.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Provide education and support to patients, families, and caregivers regarding neurological conditions and rehabilitation strategies.
- Contribute to service development initiatives, audit activities, and quality improvement efforts.
