The Team

The regional IT Business Analysis team at Mattel, consisting of four members, operates within the Global Technology Organization (GTO). The GTO's main objective is to enhance our technological framework, deliver a premier, comprehensive business transformation across all brands and regions through technology, standardize global business operations via modern technological platforms, optimize our workflows, minimize costs across the organization, and position Mattel for growth driven by technology.

The Opportunity

We are in search of a Lead IT Systems Analyst to become part of our regional IT team in EMEA, focusing on business collaboration and developing expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics systems. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, key responsibilities encompass acting as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, third-party logistics contacts, and external IT service providers, cultivating knowledge of Mattel's iSeries operational systems, assessing business requirements, and contributing to the enhancement of our service quality. This role offers opportunities to engage in regional and global IT transformation initiatives, support implementations, and partake in solution exploration activities.

What Your Impact Will Be:

  • Serve as the regional and global IT expert in Mattel's iSeries operational systems with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Act as the regional IT authority on EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
  • Provide consultation and serve as an escalation point for regional business partners.
  • Offer guidance for internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Manage responses to urgent, business-critical support incidents.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify and promote transformation opportunities.
  • Encourage the adoption of tools and processes; assist in driving process standardization.
  • Deliver data analysis and structured insights to foster positive outcomes.
  • Collaborate with and guide outsourced IT partners.
  • Lead regional and global project initiatives with business partners and third-party logistics providers.

What We're Looking For:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT fields.
  • Proficient iSeries operator or developer; experience with Supply Chain or Finance applications is preferred.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business collaboration within Supply Chain and Logistics domains.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and comfort with complex challenges.
  • Experience in coordinating or leading IT projects.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently and as part of a team.
