Lead Cost Consultant – Joinery

Salary: £60,000 TO £80,000 (Open to Freelance)

Our client is a distinguished entity within the London Construction industry, providing a comprehensive solution for tailored joinery and carpentry by managing projects from Design through to Production and Installation.

This organization has built an impressive portfolio of loyal clients, collaborating with some of the capital's leading Contractors.

Engaging with these Clients, they are involved in flagship construction initiatives, as well as prestigious high-end projects, showcasing a diverse range of sectors and project types.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned commercial professional to thrive in a dynamic environment focused on achievement. You will be tasked with overseeing all financial aspects of carpentry and joinery projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with the joinery workshop manager and directors to ensure the in-house capabilities align with project requirements.
  • Engage with the Quality Management system and adhere to company protocols as necessary.
  • Possess a strong background in joinery, whether from a trade perspective or within your current Quantity Surveying or Estimating role.

Essential Qualifications:

  • In-depth technical knowledge of joinery components, finishes, and manufacturing processes.
  • Ability to assess and identify potential issues with client-designed joinery.
  • Experience in Sub-Contractor Management.
  • Proven track record in final account settlements.
  • Willingness to contribute as a key member of a small office team.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

This is a permanent role based at the office/workshop, offering opportunities for further professional development within the organization. The salary ranges from £60,000 to £80,000, depending on experience and skill set, complemented by a generous performance-based bonus scheme.
