The Team

The regional IT Business Analysis team at Mattel consists of four professionals and operates within the Global Technology Organization (GTO). The GTO's mission is to modernize our technological framework, implement comprehensive business transformations across all brands and regions, standardize global business processes through advanced technology platforms, enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs enterprise-wide, and position Mattel for growth driven by technology.

The Opportunity

We are looking for a Lead IT Systems Analyst to become an integral part of our regional IT team in EMEA, focusing on business collaboration and developing expertise in Supply Chain and Logistics systems. Reporting to the Senior IT Manager, your key responsibilities will include acting as a liaison between IT, business stakeholders, third-party logistics (3PL) contacts, and external IT service providers. You will build proficiency in Mattel's iSeries operational systems, assess business requirements, and contribute to the enhancement of service quality. This role offers the chance to engage in regional and global IT transformation initiatives, support system rollouts, and participate in solution discovery processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the regional and global IT subject matter expert on Mattel's iSeries operational systems with a focus on Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Act as the regional IT expert for EMEA Supply Chain and Logistics processes.
  • Provide consultation and serve as an escalation point for regional business partners.
  • Assist with internal and external audit inquiries.
  • Manage responses to urgent, business-critical support incidents.
  • Collaborate with business partners to identify and pursue transformation opportunities.
  • Promote the adoption of tools and processes; support the standardization of operations.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide structured insights to drive positive outcomes.
  • Partner with and guide outsourced IT service providers.
  • Lead regional and global project initiatives alongside business partners and 3PL providers.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related IT fields.
  • Experienced iSeries operator or developer, preferably with a background in Supply Chain or Finance applications.
  • Over 5 years of experience in business partnership within Supply Chain and Logistics domains.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities, analytical mindset, and comfort with complex scenarios.
  • Proven experience in coordinating or leading IT projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
