Location: Slough & Heathrow

Salary: Up to 拢70,000

Employment Type: Full-time, On-site (initially 5 days a week, transitioning to a hybrid model)

Role Summary:

We are actively seeking two experienced Linux Systems Specialists to become integral members of our innovative team, providing support to a prominent governmental client. This position presents a unique chance to engage in a vital environment, ensuring the effective functioning and assistance of Linux infrastructures.

Core Responsibilities:

  • System Implementation & Maintenance: Deploy and sustain Linux systems to guarantee peak performance and dependability.
  • Issue Resolution: Identify and rectify challenges within Linux settings, escalating to Data Center Engineers when necessary for problem-solving.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Linux Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge and practical experience with Linux operating systems.
  • Scripting Proficiency: Basic to intermediate scripting skills to automate processes and enhance system productivity.
  • Security Clearance Eligibility: Candidates must be eligible for Security Clearance.

Preferred Skills:

  • Storage Technologies: Familiarity with storage solutions and technologies.
  • High-Performance Computing (HPC): Understanding of HPC environments and their specific challenges.

Work Environment:

Initially, this role will require on-site presence at Slough and Heathrow, with a commitment of 5 days a week, transitioning to a hybrid working arrangement over time.

Compensation Package:

Competitive salary up to 拢70,000, based on experience and qualifications.
