About the Role

Quest Search and Selection Ltd is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and Enhance Existing Revenue Channels

Develop and implement strategies to maintain and enhance existing revenue channels, while actively pursuing new business opportunities.

Develop a Deep Understanding of the Industry Landscape

Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, market developments, and key players in the B2B media sales sector.

Stay Informed about Client Offerings

Keep abreast of client offerings, market spending patterns, and client investments to identify new business opportunities.

Attend Client Meetings and Presentations

Attend client meetings and presentations to maintain strong relationships and drive business forward.

Provide Clients with Detailed Performance Reports

Provide clients with detailed performance reports, identifying future opportunities and areas for improvement.

Attend Industry Exhibitions and Conferences

Attend relevant industry exhibitions, conferences, and events to stay informed about industry developments and network with key players.

Ensure Effective Use of CRM Systems

Ensure the team effectively uses CRM systems to capture accurate data and manage reports, utilizing this information to make informed decisions.

Analyzing Brand Performance

Analyze brand performance and project future outcomes through individual revenue forecasting.

Motivating and Fostering a Positive Sales Culture

Motivate and foster a positive, professional sales culture within the team.

Requirements
  • 3-4+ Years' Experience in B2B Media Sales

Ideal candidate will have 3-4+ years' experience in B2B media sales across a comprehensive product portfolio, print, digital, events, or conferences.

Experience in Business Development

Candidate must have experience lending to more Business Development than just Account Management.

Strong Commercial Acumen

Candidate must have strong commercial acumen and experience in driving business and profit growth.

Proficient in IT

Candidate must be proficient in IT with advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel).

Full Driving License

Candidate must have a car and full driving license.

Excellent Communication and Time Management Skills

Candidate must have excellent communication, negotiation, and strong time management skills.

Expertise in Building and Leading Relationships

Candidate must have expertise in building and leading effective relationships to ensure timely and accurate information sharing.

Keeps Up-to-Date with New Procedures and Industry Knowledge

Candidate must keep up to date with new procedures, media, industry knowledge, and legislation.
