Senior Philanthropy Development Manager

We are seeking an ambitious and experienced fundraising professional to join our Philanthropy team at Prostate Cancer UK. As a Senior Philanthropy Development Manager, you will play a key role in engaging high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure five and six-figure gifts from influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts.
- Provide exceptional stewardship to existing and new supporters, ensuring they feel valued and inspired to make significant contributions.
- Collaborate with our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers, and Leadership Team to harness their support and involvement in fundraising efforts.
- Work closely with the Philanthropy team to develop and implement effective engagement plans, ensuring a strong team ethic and collaborative approach.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, Trusts, Trustees, and Directors, leveraging their influence and support to drive fundraising success.
- Proven track record of achieving five and six-figure gifts in a fundraising role.
- Excellent persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with high-profile individuals and Trusts.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and achieving fundraising targets.
