We are seeking an ambitious and experienced fundraising professional to join our Philanthropy team at Prostate Cancer UK. As a Senior Philanthropy Development Manager, you will play a key role in engaging high-profile individuals and Trusts in the UK, connecting them to the difference they can make to thousands of men facing prostate cancer.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy to secure five and six-figure gifts from influential and high-profile individuals and Trusts.
- Provide exceptional stewardship to existing and new supporters, ensuring they feel valued and inspired to make significant contributions.
- Harness the support of our enthusiastic and influential Trustees, Senior Volunteers, and Leadership Team, involving them in 'making the ask', thanking, and attending events.
- Work collaboratively with the Philanthropy team to achieve targets and outcomes, demonstrating a strong team ethic and flexibility in achieving results.
- Proven track record of achieving five and six-figure gifts in a Major Donor and/or Trust fundraising role.
- Outstanding persuasion, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with high-net-worth individuals, Trusts, Trustees, and Directors.
- Highly organized and adept at juggling multiple tasks, with the ability to balance management of existing donors while cultivating potential new supporters.
- Ability to dive into the detail of individual engagement plans while keeping an eye on the big picture of the overall programme and how to achieve it.
