About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Philanthropy Manager to join our Philanthropy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for securing significant funding from high-net-worth individuals and other major donors to support our mission and programs.
The Senior Philanthropy Manager will work closely with our Head of Philanthropy, the Senior Principal Gifts Manager, and the rest of the Philanthropy team to develop and implement a comprehensive fundraising strategy. This will involve building and maintaining relationships with major donors, identifying and pursuing new funding opportunities, and managing a portfolio of high-value partnerships.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in major gifts fundraising, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
About YouWe are looking for a highly motivated and experienced fundraiser who is passionate about the mission and values of the Natural History Museum. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles of major gifts fundraising and the ability to develop and implement effective strategies to secure significant funding.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with major donors and other stakeholders. They will also have a strong understanding of the Museum's collections, exhibitions, and research programs, and be able to articulate the impact of philanthropic support on our mission and programs.
