About the Role

In this exciting opportunity within the In-Sync Group Careers Finance Team, you will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of client bank account management for the Self-Assessment Tax function.

As a key member of a busy and fast-paced team, you will be responsible for:

  • Reconciling multimillion-pound bank accounts, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Creating and processing invoices and disbursements of Self-Assessment rebates from HMRC to clients
  • Managing inter-company transactions and providing timely resolution to queries
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure seamless client service and support
  • Building relationships with clients, colleagues, and external partners to drive business growth and success

Key Responsibilities

As a Financial Operations Assistant, your duties will include:

  • Client account reconciliation, including allocating self-assessment receipts and calculating disbursements
  • Producing invoicing data for our outsourcing partners
  • Daily/weekly payments of Self-Assessment rebates
  • Generating Self-Assessment invoices
  • Credit control collection across all IN-SYNC products and liaising with Underwriting
  • Communicating with clients in a timely manner to ensure their needs are met
  • Ensuring clients are kept up-to-date and successfully resolving any issues and queries
