Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced clinical leader to provide expert guidance and support within the specialty of epilepsy and learning disabilities. The successful candidate will oversee a dedicated team of Nurse Specialists, ensuring that patient care is delivered in a safe, effective, and person-centered manner. This role is pivotal in maintaining high-quality standards and implementing clinical audits and research initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert clinical advice and leadership within the specialty.
- Develop and implement clinical audit programs and research activities.
- Ensure adherence to clinical guidelines and standards.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating and guiding team members.
- Maintain comprehensive knowledge of relevant conditions and policies.
- Apply advanced clinical judgment and practice skills.
Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Nurse with current UK NMC Registration.
- Educated to or working towards a Master's Level qualification.
- Extensive postgraduate experience in the relevant specialty.
- Proven leadership and management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficient in information technology.
Desirable Attributes
- Master's qualification in Learning Disability Nursing.
- Completion of mentorship training.
- Significant post-registration experience.
- Experience in mental health and learning disability services.
- Knowledge of legislative policies related to the specialty.
Employment Details
This is a permanent, full-time position requiring 37 hours per week. The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM.
