Position: Palliative Care Nurse Specialist (Community Hospice Team)
Employment Type: Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities Available
Compensation: £41,965 WTE per annum (pro rata) + Pension + Benefits
Potential increase to £46,100 (pro rata) + Pension + Benefits (after 6-12 months of satisfactory performance)
Grade: Hospice Band 6
St Columba's Hospice is dedicated to providing exemplary hospice care to all individuals in need. As an independent charity, we are deeply rooted in our community, delivering free, flexible, and personalized palliative care and support to patients and their families.
In this crucial role, you will work collaboratively with GPs, district nurses, social workers, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and complementary therapists, as well as the broader community, to assist individuals in living well with their palliative conditions.
Our service focuses on alleviating symptoms and empowering individuals to live life on their own terms, for as long as possible, in their chosen environments.
As a Palliative Care Nurse Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring the seamless provision of outstanding hospice care to patients and their families.
We seek confident and compassionate nurses with experience in palliative care who are enthusiastic about joining a dynamic and supportive environment. Our team operates Monday to Friday from 8 am to 5 pm, with both full-time and part-time hours available.
Weekend and public holiday shifts are scheduled on a rota basis from 8 am to 4 pm.
