Position Overview

NHS Lothian is seeking dedicated Clinical Nurse Specialists to enhance our Community Hospice Team. Our organization has a rich history of providing exemplary palliative care, ensuring that individuals with life-limiting conditions receive the support they need.

Role Responsibilities

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will:

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including GPs, district nurses, and therapists, to deliver comprehensive care.
  • Empower patients to manage their symptoms effectively, promoting a quality of life that aligns with their personal preferences.
  • Facilitate the smooth delivery of hospice services to patients and their families, ensuring exceptional care standards.

Employment Details

This role offers both full-time and part-time opportunities, with a competitive salary starting at £41,965 per annum (pro rata), alongside a pension scheme and additional benefits. Following a satisfactory performance review, the salary can rise to £46,100 (pro rata).

Work Schedule

The working hours are Monday to Friday, from 8 am to 5 pm, with weekend and public holiday shifts on a rota basis from 8 am to 4 pm.
