Role Overview
As a Care Support Specialist, you will be part of a dedicated team focused on enhancing the lives of individuals with varying disabilities, including visual impairments. This role is essential in providing tailored support in a residential setting, ensuring that each person receives the care they need to thrive.

Location:
Seaford, East Sussex

Compensation:
£23,400 annually plus additional benefits.
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, with a flexible shift pattern covering weekdays and weekends.

Employment Type:
Full-time, Permanent.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Deliver personalized care and support to individuals, assisting them in acquiring new skills.
2. Act as an advocate for those you support, with opportunities to take on keyworker responsibilities.
3. Collaborate with senior staff to conduct person-centered reviews and maintain accurate records.
4. Facilitate access to medical appointments and other essential services.
5. Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
6. Foster a safe and nurturing environment, adhering to safeguarding principles.
7. Encourage participation in social activities and life skills development.
8. Work closely with families and other stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support.
