About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team at Forseven, a revolutionary company transforming the EV industry through cutting-edge technology and innovative engineering practices.

This is a hybrid position that can be worked from either of our sites 3 days a week, offering a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and deploy cloud-native software systems using cloud-based tools and services on AWS, architecting scalable and secure software solutions that leverage the elasticity and cost-efficiency of AWS.
  • Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate software with existing infrastructure and ensure smooth deployment on AWS.
  • Stay up to date on the latest AWS services and best practices for building and managing cloud-native applications.
  • Mentor junior software engineers.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience as a Software Engineer, including time spent in a Senior role.
  • Expertise in system design, data structures, algorithms, and clean, efficient coding practices.
  • In-depth knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and experience with containerisation technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, serverless and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
  • Proficiency in at least one of these programming languages: Go, Python.
  • A proven track record of working in Agile environments, including experience with user stories, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
