Job Title: Client Relations and Administrative Coordinator

Compensation: Up to £28,000 per annum based on experience

Location: Saffron Walden, Essex

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a certified Part 145 Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) organization as a Quote & Estimating Administrator. This company is dedicated to innovating repair solutions for aircraft components through Part 21J design and boasts a comprehensive range of C-ratings, along with a CAA BCAR accredited aerospace welding workshop. They cater to a diverse clientele of aircraft operators, including major names in the industry.

The primary objective of this role is to maintain regular communication with airline partners to oversee, monitor, and facilitate the maintenance and repair processes of their aircraft components from the moment they arrive at the facility until their safe return. You will be tasked with consistently reviewing the progress of work on the shop floor, collaborating closely with Engineers, the Workshop Manager, and teams in Planning, Logistics, and Quality to ensure that service delivery remains on schedule and deadlines are adhered to.

Your responsibilities will encompass managing all aspects of the administrative and customer service functions necessary to provide comprehensive service to some of the largest airline companies globally.

This is a full-time, permanent position with a standard workweek from Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The successful candidate will be required to work on-site, as hybrid working arrangements are not available for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage regularly with aviation partners to oversee, track, and advance the maintenance and repair of airline components.
  • Identify and communicate any supply chain issues, such as shortages or delays, and collaborate internally with Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering Team Leaders to ensure timely progress.
  • Accurately enter data into the internal database systems (Aerotrack).
  • Propose and implement strategies to enhance service quality and productivity.
  • Address customer service inquiries and perform general administrative tasks.
  • Assist team members in their roles and provide coverage during annual leave (Sales, Estimating, Purchasing).
  • Manage incoming and outgoing phone communications.
  • Ensure that all company documentation is current and accessible on the website.

Candidate Profile:

  • A Level or equivalent qualification
  • Preferably experience within the aerospace engineering sector
  • Understanding of planning, monitoring, and managing workloads to meet production goals
  • Proficient in relevant software applications
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Effective planning and organizational abilities
  • Competence in performance management
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
