Job Summary

We are seeking a results-oriented individual to join our team as a Senior Growth Manager focused on carbon credit sales. The successful candidate will work with a world-class, purpose-driven team that moves at speed and strives for maximum impact.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute and own a significant part of the revenue goals related to Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) credit sales
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of corporations and potential buyers interested in buying carbon credits
  • Secure forward and spot carbon credit sale agreements
  • Package commercial offers and solutions to meet customer needs
  • Develop assets (presentations, pitches) to support business development
  • Negotiate and close sales
  • Build strong and long-term relationships with customers and across industry
  • Represent Cultivo Land externally in a professional and positive manner
  • Demonstrate leadership in sales discipline, use of CRM, pipeline management, and reporting of performance
  • Monitor customer satisfaction over time and provide input to innovate and adapt sales strategies and offers based on market feedback and customer demand

Requirements

  • 5+ years business-to-business sales experience, including carbon credit sales to corporations and over-the-counter (OTC) and complex deals
  • Extensive corporate network with sustainability leaders
  • Track record of delivery against targets and revenue/sales growth
  • Outstanding relationship management skills
  • International experience - comfortable working across geographies and cultures
  • Relevant undergraduate degree or higher qualification
  • Knowledge of nature-based carbon removal projects
  • Understanding of carbon market trends, regulations, standards, and methodologies
  • Ability to balance attention to detail with working at pace
  • Ability to work across multiple projects with good time management skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in the English language, Spanish language an advantage
  • Purpose-driven mindset - passionate about environmental and social impact
  • Flexible approach, comfortable dealing with change and ambiguity
  • Strong interpersonal skills, to be effective with a remote and diverse team
  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes full ownership and can work independently while in a team environment
