Position Overview

Join our Cyber Security division as a Business Development Executive (BDE) and play a crucial role in propelling Acora's expansion. From the outset, you will collaborate closely with senior leaders in the cyber sector to cultivate and advance our business, utilizing your knowledge in cyber sales, account management, business, IT, and technology.

You will have access to industry-leading tools such as Microsoft Dynamics and LinkedIn Sales Navigator to identify and secure high-level introductions within our target market. You will also be part of a dynamic team that values empowerment, collaboration, and support, fostering a culture that rewards top performers.

In addition to a nurturing environment, our commission structure is designed to reward quality over quantity. You will receive incentives at each stage of the sales process, from initial meetings to finalized deals, ensuring that your hard work and commitment are acknowledged and compensated.

Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Identify and investigate potential clients and business opportunities.
  • Generate leads through various channels, including networking and online research.
  • Qualify leads to ensure alignment with the company’s products and services.

Market Analysis & Strategy Development

  • Conduct market research to uncover trends and opportunities.
  • Analyze competitors and their offerings.
  • Formulate strategies to differentiate the company in the marketplace.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Maintain precise records of business development activities and client interactions.
  • Prepare regular reports on sales activities, progress, and performance metrics.

Client Relationship Management

  • Foster relationships with prospects to convert them into customers.
  • Participate in follow-up meetings with prospects.

  • Dynamic individuals with confidence, competitiveness, commercial awareness, and strong communication skills. (Lack of industry/IT knowledge should not deter candidates, as this can be taught.)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, preferably gained through relevant work experience.

  • A minimum of a 2:1 degree classification from university.
