About the Team:
The Sales Development team at AlphaSense plays a crucial role in our efforts to engage potential clients and generate a robust sales pipeline. Our team is responsible for identifying prospective clients, employing diverse outreach strategies, initiating strategic discussions with key stakeholders, and collaborating closely with Account Executives to expand our presence within both new and existing accounts, ultimately driving revenue growth.
About the Role:
As a Sales Development Representative at AlphaSense, you will be integral to our business's success and expansion. Your primary focus will be on generating new business by establishing and nurturing relationships with executives from Fortune 1000 companies or investment professionals through various communication channels. This role will not only provide you with essential skills to excel in your current position but also pave the way for your advancement into a quota-carrying sales role through our comprehensive training and development program.

- Sales Enthusiast: You are driven and ambitious, whether you come from a sales background or are transitioning from another field.
- Effective Communicator: Your interactions will be with senior executives from some of the largest organizations, requiring exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Organized: You will support our sales team in closing significant deals, necessitating a focused and task-oriented approach.
- Growth-Oriented: As our business evolves, we expect you to grow alongside us, utilizing the training and resources provided to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Goal-Driven: You will have specific performance metrics to meet, and your mindset will be geared towards exceeding those targets, with corresponding rewards for your achievements.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct research to identify new client opportunities based on established client profiles within target accounts.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to uncover new business opportunities within our client base and prospects, taking on the responsibility of identifying potential leads.
- Implement best practices in sales development through email, phone, and social outreach to connect with new prospects.
- Engage with potential clients to effectively communicate our product's value proposition.
- Utilize discovery techniques and objection handling strategies to engage decision-makers and generate interest in our offerings.
- Coordinate meetings for Account Executives and maintain accurate records of activities in our CRM system.
- Demonstrate a consistent ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
