About the Team:

The Sales Development team at AlphaSense plays a crucial role in our efforts to engage potential clients and generate a robust sales pipeline. Our team is responsible for identifying prospective clients, employing diverse outreach strategies, initiating strategic discussions with key stakeholders, and collaborating closely with Account Executives to expand our presence within both new and existing accounts, ultimately driving revenue growth.

About the Role:

As a Sales Development Representative at AlphaSense, you will be integral to our business's success and expansion. Your primary focus will be on generating new business by establishing and nurturing relationships with executives from Fortune 1000 companies or investment professionals through various communication channels. This role will not only provide you with essential skills to excel in your current position but also pave the way for your advancement into a quota-carrying sales role through our comprehensive training and development program.

  • Effective Communicator: Your interactions will be with senior executives from some of the largest organizations, requiring exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.

What You'll Do:

  • Conduct research to identify new client opportunities based on established client profiles within target accounts.
  • Collaborate with Account Executives to uncover new business opportunities within our client base and prospects, taking on the responsibility of identifying potential leads.
  • Implement best practices in sales development through email, phone, and social outreach to connect with new prospects.
  • Engage with potential clients to effectively communicate our product's value proposition.
  • Utilize discovery techniques and objection handling strategies to engage decision-makers and generate interest in our offerings.
  • Coordinate meetings for Account Executives and maintain accurate records of activities in our CRM system.
  • Demonstrate a consistent ability to meet or exceed performance targets.
