Finance Business Partner

Location: Hybrid Working Model

The Consultancy Group is collaborating with a prestigious Global Facilities Management and Hospitality organization to identify a high-caliber Finance Business Partner. This esteemed brand is recognized for its excellent workplace culture, and you will be part of a dynamic Finance team that excels in performance. In this role, you will engage with Senior Leadership teams regularly, gaining significant visibility within the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Development: Lead and nurture a team of three finance professionals.
  • Strategic Business Partnership: Collaborate with Senior Leaders and department heads.
  • Operational Collaboration: Partner with the Head of Operations and Fulfilment Centre leaders to analyze metrics, present findings, and implement strategies for enhanced outcomes.
  • Month-End Management: Oversee the timely and precise execution of month-end activities, including purchase order and invoice management, postings, accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Performance Analysis: Communicate monthly performance metrics and variance analyses aligned with operational KPIs. Facilitate monthly review discussions, focusing on risks and opportunities.
  • Financial Strategy: Take charge of monthly forecasting, annual budgeting, and long-term financial planning.
  • Cost Efficiency: Collaborate with Logistics and Customer Service teams to enhance cost efficiency, accelerate service delivery, and assist with ad hoc analyses and projects.
  • Cross-Departmental Relationship Management: Cultivate relationships with various teams, including Brand Management and Accounts Payable.
  • Process Improvement: Champion enhancements across financial processes and reporting to boost efficiency, accuracy, and quality.

Essential Qualifications and Skills:

  • Education: Fully qualified in Accounting or Finance with relevant experience.
  • Proactive Mindset: A self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Analytical Acumen: Strong analytical capabilities and meticulous attention to detail, with the ability to interpret data in diverse formats.
  • Effective Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Deadline Management: Capable of meeting deadlines, juggling multiple priorities, and applying a structured, logical approach to problem-solving.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office Suite, especially Excel. Familiarity with Oracle, Hyperion, and Qlik systems is advantageous.
