Finance Manager:

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a driven and proactive Finance Manager to become part of a rapidly expanding, successful, people-oriented consultancy firm. Our client is focused on growth and development in the coming years.

In the role of Finance Manager, you will be welcomed into an organization that values its culture and invests in its workforce. You will collaborate closely with the Finance Director and CEO to help steer the financial operations, manage financial activities, enhance financial performance, and contribute to strategic growth initiatives.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Compile and deliver monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, taking ownership of the ID facility.
  • Lead the yearly budgeting process and establish solid financial forecasts, providing analysis of variances against budget performance.
  • Supervise and ensure the timely and precise preparation of monthly management accounts, offering additional financial insights to aid business decision-making.
  • Oversee and nurture a team of 2 direct reports, fostering a culture of high performance and growth.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls and assist in the external audit processes.
  • Act as a financial advisor to key stakeholders and leaders within the organization, delivering comprehensive financial insights and support to drive future growth and performance.
  • Facilitate the financial integration of new systems, ensuring scalability in line with business requirements.
  • Implement process enhancements to improve the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the finance department.
  • Undertake any additional ad-hoc responsibilities, such as financial analysis and projects as requested by the senior leadership team.

Candidate Profile:

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience.
  • Strong technical accounting expertise.
  • Experience in the recruitment sector is advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing and developing a team.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with systems such as Bullhorn, SunMicrosystems, and/or Xero is a plus.
