Key Responsibilities
  • Initiate projects, track performance indicators, and provide updates on critical objectives impacting deliverables.

  • Collaborate with various Amazon departments to pinpoint and adopt best practices.
  • Lead a multidisciplinary team within a project framework to tackle challenges and drive advancement.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and internal workflows, establishing clear standards.
A Day in the Life

As a Project Coordinator, you will be tasked with planning, executing, and enhancing initiatives that ensure the seamless operation of our services.

You will engage closely with a diverse range of Amazon colleagues to gain insights into their workflows, sharing your expertise while learning from theirs. Together, you will uncover exciting new possibilities and take charge of their implementation.

Your role will be crucial in guiding your teams and colleagues to achieve significant milestones while actively seeking new, data-driven methods to enhance our operations.

About the Team

The Amazon Transportation Service (ATS) team is essential to our ability to deliver efficiently. By joining ATS, you will become part of a diverse group that plays a vital role in our success.

Utilizing air, sea, and road transport, along with state-of-the-art sortation centers, you will contribute to maximizing the efficiency of Amazon's logistics.

Our team leverages data to inform decisions, driving innovation and efficiency within Amazon. We prioritize safety, recognizing that our workforce is our greatest asset. Our expertise enables us to deliver packages swiftly, conveniently, and sustainably.

Basic Qualifications
  • A degree.
  • Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects or programs using project management methodologies.
  • Experience in utilizing data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving a diverse range of stakeholders, including peers and leadership.
  • Proficiency in the MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and/or SQL in a professional context.
Preferred Qualifications

While preferred qualifications are not mandatory for application, they are valued:

  • Advanced or master's degree.
  • Project management certification such as PRINCE2, APM, PMI, or similar.
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean.
  • Experience in an operational environment or with technical teams.
