Job Description

We are currently looking for a Transport Operations Coordinator to join our Transport team at our Minworth location. In this role, you will be tasked with delivering essential administrative support to the Transport Department.

Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Days 06:00 to 18:00

Salary: £26,622 Per Annum

Key Responsibilities of the Transport Operations Coordinator include:

  • Contributing to the site’s success by ensuring that all Proof of Delivery (POD) and Return processes are executed in accordance with site policy documents.
  • Coordinating collections for customers and completing necessary paperwork.
  • Arranging deliveries for customers.
  • Investigating any collection-related inquiries.
  • Ensuring all documentation is returned for all customer deliveries dispatched from the site, and following up on outstanding PODs.
  • Communicating with staff at other depots and external contacts.
  • Photocopying, printing, organizing, and archiving documents and computer-based information.
  • Managing the inbound diary for all customers.
  • Monitoring the clean POD workflow on a daily basis.
  • Controlling period-end spreadsheets.
  • Compiling lists of outstanding PODs and contacting hauliers for requests.
  • Reporting on outstanding PODs each day.
Qualifications

As a Transport Operations Coordinator, you will possess the following skills, experience, and qualifications:

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A positive and adaptable attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills to provide accurate information.
  • Ability to work efficiently and accurately under pressure.
  • Effective prioritization of workload to meet deadlines.
  • Good standard of computer literacy, particularly in MS Office applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Able to work collaboratively within a team or independently.
