About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Worker to join our team at NHS Scotland. As a Healthcare Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with routine personal care and examination duties for patients, under the supervision of a registered nurse or clinician.
  • Ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • Contribute to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized environment within the ward or department.
  • Perform assigned duties to support the delivery of healthcare services, adapting to the needs of patients and the team.
Requirements
  • Knowledge of personal care and related procedures, or previous experience in a healthcare or social care environment.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating clearly and respectfully with colleagues and patients.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to document patient information accurately.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently.
