About the Role

NHS Greater Glasgow & Clyde is seeking a skilled and compassionate Healthcare Support Specialist to join our Radiation Therapy Department as a Radiation Therapy Assistant. Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with cancer patients, utilizing exceptional interpersonal skills to provide emotional support and guidance.
  • Work effectively within IT systems, utilizing basic computer skills to manage daily tasks and responsibilities.
  • Rotate through various areas within the department, working under the supervision of the team lead and taking on responsibilities as needed.
  • Assist in the day-to-day management of cancer patients, working both supervised and unsupervised as required.
  • Plan and prioritize workload, utilizing initiative and problem-solving skills to ensure efficient and effective care delivery.
