Clinical Support Worker

About the Role
The Clinical Support Worker will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary team, providing care duties for patients in support of a registered nurse or Operating Department practitioner (ODP). This role requires the ability to work unsupervised, but with the wider theatre team available for reference at all times.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out assigned duties involving direct and indirect patient care within the theatre environments.
- Perform physical, technical, and emotional aspects of patient care in an efficient, effective, and responsible manner.
- Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Participate in the Personal Development Plan process to fulfill the requirements of continuing professional development.
Requirements
- SVQ III in peri-operative care or working towards, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work with people and as part of a multidisciplinary/agency team.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to carry out assigned patient care tasks effectively within a busy environment.
- Ability to work unsupervised.
- Valid UK/EU/EEA driving license.
