The Procurement department plays a vital role in our Ecological Transformation efforts, and we are expanding our team of professionals to enhance our impact.

We are currently looking for two Category Managers to oversee our indirect categories, including IT, Corporate and Professional Services, and Operational Supplies.

Our focus is on achieving Procurement Excellence.

Your Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for managing several of Veolia's indirect categories, ensuring timely delivery in a dynamic operational setting while meeting Veolia's health, safety, operational, environmental, and commercial requirements.

Your role will involve considering factors such as pricing, sustainability, quality, and delivery to ensure a consistent supply.

You will collaborate with team members to enhance the Procurement function both internally and as a strategic asset, nurturing key stakeholder relationships and serving as a subject matter expert on Procurement and Supply Chain needs.

Your duties will include negotiating and engaging with stakeholders and suppliers on new projects, supplies, and initiatives, while advising on the implications of changes on purchasing and production activities.

You will stay informed about any developments that may impact the supply and demand of necessary goods, materials, or services, and communicate potential impacts to relevant stakeholders.

Building, maintaining, and managing supplier relationships will be crucial to identify risks and manage performance effectively. You will negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms of business with suppliers, exploring opportunities to deliver value across various criteria.

Additionally, you will develop strategies to enhance operational efficiency, add value, improve business performance, and pursue a continuous improvement strategy.


Qualifications:
- Proven experience in category management and procurement within a reputable organization
- Familiarity with indirect categories or general procurement
- Strong project management capabilities
- Excellent contract negotiation skills
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers
- A creative, innovative, and solution-oriented mindset, with strong influencing and negotiation abilities
- Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines with a high level of commercial awareness, working autonomously.
