We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our procurement and supply chain efforts as a Strategic Procurement Leader. This role will oversee the entirety of the Non-Cat supply of products and services, including Fleet management.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and Deliver Strategic Goals
- Develop and deliver procurement function strategic goals and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) through dedicated management and active participation with the regional operations teams and global supply chain team.
- Procurement and Vendor Management
- Oversee and drive procurement and vendor management's strategic objectives at the local levels.
- Contract Management
- Ensure the implementation of and compliance with negotiated contracts, agreements, policies, and procedures.
- Global Alignment
- Develop and maintain close alignment with Global Procurement to deliver corporate objectives within Regional operational requirements and strategies.
- Internal Partnerships
- Partner and liaise with and influence internal business partners to ensure early involvement and optimal use of procurement and supplier tools, processes, and systems.
- Project Management
- Mentor and support project management concepts in the planning and execution of procurement projects.
- Team Leadership
- Provide direction and clearly communicate targets to teams, measuring performance against agreed targets.
- Training and Development
- Identify training and development opportunities to increase skills and improve performance. Develop the capability and skill set of the Procurement Team.
- Education and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or equivalent experience in a related field.
- Knowledge and Skills
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management.
- Understanding of strategic procurement.
- Knowledge of commercial/contractual practices.
- Leadership Experience
- Strong leadership experience in managing functional activities and tasks through direct reports, managerial planning, and integrating support activities.
- Significant working experience in supply chain planning and procurement.
- Extensive experience leading/managing/supervising direct reports.
- Experience within a large organization with a proven track record of influencing authority at all levels and implementing supply chain strategies.
