We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Strategic Procurement Leader to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our procurement function, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategic procurement plans to achieve business objectives and drive cost savings.
- Lead and manage a team of procurement professionals to ensure effective procurement processes and practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including operations, supply chain, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with global procurement teams to develop and implement global procurement strategies.
- Develop and maintain a robust supplier management process to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide leadership and guidance to the procurement team to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively.
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the company's business operations and supply chain.
Requirements
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful strategic procurement plans.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with experience of leading and managing a team of procurement professionals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders.
- Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain management and commercial/contractual practices.
- Full CIPS Membership (desirable).
