Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team focused on customer service to uphold high service standards.
  • Oversee the coordination team to ensure effective planning and scheduling of care and nursing staff, aiming for a 100% fulfilment rate.
  • Provide support to the Out of Hours coordination service, utilizing problem-solving skills to address challenges.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, one-on-ones, performance evaluations, and support team development to enhance employee performance.
  • Monitor and manage costs associated with shift fulfilment, including overtime and agency staff usage.
  • Ensure proper onboarding and scheduling of team members for care packages, including competency assessments and approvals.
  • Maintain compliance with company policies and data protection regulations.
  • Support safeguarding measures and assist in resolving HR-related issues.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment team to address staffing needs effectively.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, their families, and funding bodies, ensuring open communication and prompt resolution of concerns.

Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards.
  • Demonstrated management experience, ideally with relevant qualifications.
  • At least 1 year of experience in operations management or a minimum of 2 years in team management.
  • Proactive problem solver with outstanding communication abilities.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK and possession of a valid UK driving licence.
